Gotcha, I’m tracking. Then yours should be two brightness like I mentioned earlier. Super easy way to test that is to turn on your parking lights, then a turn signal. The one in front should be flashing between bright and dim. I think. This is going off memory from stewie.

Mine do because I wired the 3 pin in the harness and put a dual filament bulb in the socket. Since the factory pretty much set them up for that just never did.

The closest thing we have to fast food here is the NEX roller dogs. Some people just cant handle the isolation.

Not really it illuminates the second filament that is brighter than the running/park light filament.

Ok thanks. So I’m not crazy that there’s dual filaments with a dim and bright mode on them.

I don’t even know what I’m going on about with these damn wires. Doesn’t even matter.

Are you wanting your inner bulbs to illuminate with your park lamps as well as just flash for turn signal?

Haha no, this all stemmed from Erik trying to wire up his grille DRL. I was saying tap into the 3rd wire, but then learned that’s for parking lights.

Just as reference, my truck only has two wires and single filament bulbs.

But go look at your harness it has an empty 3rd spot for a wire. I tapped into my park lamp wire ran a wire and put a 3rd pin in my harness for that and then went and bought the dual filament bulbs since the socket is already made for them. I have a bunch of spare pig tails laying around and de-pinned them until I found the right pin to put into my harness.

There are a couple write ups on here about it but I didn't like how those guys were doing it seemed kinda Jerry Rigged to me so I made it foctoryish.

so are you saying my dtrl are two diff bright? or my parking lights? cuz my DTRL only have 2 wires going to them and I'm pretty sure they just flash on and off no dim. not sure what my parking lights do while on and signaling. its raining out but I will check when I head out in a bit and get back to you.

Yeah I’m curious as well. Two wires, yet having your turn signals light up with parking lights is interesting.

It's 2 different circuits with them sharing a common ground. One for one filament the running/park lamps and one for the turn signals.

@inesshell you have a link to that solar panel you run? It sticks to the roof, correct?
