Boats must be different than jet skis. I’ve done 55 mph on one and it didn’t feel that fast. Although having never ridden one and holding the throttle open until it couldn’t go any faster was probably not the best way to go about it. I was over the handle bars with my shoulders on the bars ducking trying to get another MPH.

Yep. My wife got into Brockton the day before the first day because there was an open spot and a friend of her Mom’s knew the principal. The principal called her not even having a resume at that point.

My wife has taught for three years in Brockton and has been laid off three times. She’s been in two schools and three grades. We anticipate another layoff and call back this year.

The only good thing is that she can collect while she’s laid off and then gets rehired with years of service intact. I know she just wishes she can go back to the same classroom she was in the previous year. Hopefully one day she will be high enough on the list it doesn’t keep happening.

When she was in Weymouth as a long term sub (only because a friend’s parent’s neighbor was a friend of the principal) she found out the principal had to regularly throw out half the resumes she received for any given position because there was too many.

It truly is who you know in that field.

 

I haven’t seen it in person.
What type of lift is this?
Can I get it down to earth a little?
The salesperson said the front was an adjustable lift and the rear were blocks.

Bolt move, Ford. Let's see how it turns out. It will be interesting to see what happens when the economy goes into another downturn. I suppose before when gas went up to $4.00 / gal the first time CUVs weren't really the thing they are now, but it will be interesting to see.

I remember when they changed the name of some of their cars, like the Taurus became the 500. Customers weren't familiar with the new names, so sales went down enough that Ford changed the names back. Now they plan to eliminate those cars completely

 

Ford only makes 3-5% profit on their cars. It’s tough to compete with Honda VW and Toyota. Hell even KIA. Car buyers really just want the cheapest damn thing they can find. So ford was losing money hand over fist for their cars. Minus the mustang. For SUVs and Trucks they make anywhere from 25% to 60% profit on those. So financially it kind of makes sense. Look at GMC all they make is trucks and SUVs
