    Gotcha.

Just know that bending the cooler line bracket isn’t much of an issue. Don’t even need tools. You can do it with your bare hands. My 13 year old daughter could do it.

Looking at the FJ radiator in my Tacoma, I don’t see anywhere that the radiator is going to hit the radiator support. :notsure:

My front crossmember has been rebuilt. The bracket for the lines isn’t even there anymore. Should truly be bolt in for me.

I can understand the appeal of a rad that is 100% specific for the Taco though. I mean, most aren’t running a bunch of boost like we are.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I get that bending the lines is easy to do but it also makes for another point of failure if the lines get kinked/stressed.

Tim I have seen your RAD support and I don't think you for one have anything to worry about however most people have not reinforced their trucks there like you have my friend, Lol.

The RAD support does flex A LOT (just look at those bushings) and that may be the reason the Taco RAD is shorter. I don't know. I just don't want to be the one that finds out!

Guys, keep in mind I'm not saying any of this stuff to stir any pot or anything. I personally would just prefer to have the RAD made specific to fit our trucks so that way I know there won't be any surprises down the road and if you would like one made specific too then please contact them and let them know. When I called they told me straight out they made the FJ because people were calling and asking for them and if we want the same things for our truck, to have people call them.

I think if the radiator support flexes that much you would have cracks in the body like 12TRDTacoma. A lot of people have now gone to urethane body mount bushings to get rid the flex. Myself, I am not concerned since I am not an extreme off roader with the truck.
I can understand your concern but it really is not a big deal to bend the lines. You sound pretty knowledgeable so I'm sure if you needed more clearance between the radiator and lines you could relocate or re-route them.

I haven't wheeled my truck at all except that one time at the Whataburger drive-thru. But I did buy the urethane mounts because the speed bumps at the mall and stuff. Haven't put them on yet, though.
