I don't purposely lug my engine, even N/A that doesn't produce good result. Pushing the pedal hard in 5th going up a hill at speed is fine, the boost builds and it just goes. The issue I have is at lower speeds typically, if the boost comes in too quick in the 3rd it gets pissed. 2nd... no prob since there isn't much load due to the gear.

i don't either. I mean, i'll hit a hill at 3000 rpm. Shouldn't be lugging at all. But as load increase the ping will start. Can't really accelerate really too much going up big hills on the highway.

You can buy it from snow performance, it’s 50/50 mix methonal and water in the gallon they have.
I fill my wiper tank up useing half 20 below blue windshield wiper mix ( which is 30 percent methonal) and half snow methonal mix in my wiper reservoir.

I had some serious wander as well. I was surprised how much better if performed after replacing the inner tie rods. Just something to think about

Is the idler pulley supposed to come right off once you take off the nut and the retaining ring/plate? I'm trying to replace my belts and that pulley is bad so I bought a replacement but I cant get it to come off. I'm not sure if I'm missing a c-clip or something but i can't get the fckn thing off! :frusty:

I'm not sure what causes mine to act up. It really does haul ass and no audible ping is ever occuring. Only sometimes at lower speeds does it seem to do it.

Yeah it should come right off. Did you take the belt of first? Give it a quick wack with a poly hammer or something

Tried that, no luck. Seems like the inner bearing race has rusted itself onto the bolt. I sprayed it with some PB blaster and I'll let it sit overnight. If that doesn't work then this weekend I'll drop the skids and pull the fan and radiator so I can get in there and attack it. Thanks for the help!

That’s weird. Could you take the tensioner part off of it to get a better go at it? Maybe a long pry Bar against the block? I’m trying to remember what it all looks like up in there. Anyone on here use the Seafoam DeepCreep for breaking loose nuts and stuff? A mechanic friend told me about it and I haven’t bought WD40 since.

Well, instead of climbing wicked rocks in Moab or cruising the awesome forests of the great PNW...I uh..., took the wife to the nursery so she could spend $400 on shit that will be dead in a month. :anonymous:

Came home to another package. This welder is going to look fly as hell when I’m done with it.
