    What up guys?!

What're you all running double-din-deck-wise in your trucks?

I'm looking for an upgrade and would like one with Carplay and also be able to retain my factory JBL system. I've tried the new JBL carplay deck and wasn't too satisfied with that one.

I have the Pioneer 4200NEX and it’s decent, but I’ve been thinking about swapping it for an Alpine ILX107 for the wireless CarPlay.

Did you keep the factory JBL system with it?

Mine didn’t have JBL, but keeping the JBL doesn’t affect which radio you can use. You just need the right adapter module/harness.

IMO unless you want to pay the mega bucks for an alpine the best brands to look at are pioneer, sony, and kenwood excelon. I have a kenwood 9903 and love it, glass screen, easy to use, and great sound.

I recommend capacitive touch screens they are much more responsive. Sort of like a smartphone screen.
