Look at Blue Ridge Overland Gear. Get the molle back panel, or the headrest one, and you can attach a first aid kit directly to that and the velcro is industrial strength so it won't just fall off. Check it out. Pretty cool stuff.

I've got a booboo kit in pocket behind driver seat under the window. And a bigger kit under driver seat. Also have a fire extinguisher I need to mount. And a bug out bag with 2l bladder behind driver seat.

Also check out l.a. police gear for gear. They normally have trauma kits on closeout.

The obvious choice is inside the storage compartment in the floor of your Xtra Cab.

That's where tools and jumpstarter and rope and tie downs go.

So put your first aid kit under everything else you toss back there?

    No way.

I've seen some pretty elaborate setups, with nets or cargo pockets mounted on the back wall or behind the front seats. Whatever you do, just make it easily accessible at ANY time. The last thing you should be doing is digging around and hunting for your first aid kit in an emergency.

Hell, have two. Keep one inside the cab, and one in the bed.

The one thing I always do, though, it use a dry bag. I got a kit designed for rafters MANY years ago. It's in a dry-bag, so even though I don't go rafting, There's always a chance of my truck getting water logged, or falling in a river while hiking.

I’ve heard multiple people say that a vehicle ifak should be within reach of the driver when buckled. It’s in case you are injured in a crash and have to apply aid to yourself.
