I know there's a lot of posts about supercharged 3rz's but I wanna hear it from experience, is it worth it? My truck is my weekend warrior but I just want more power but is it worth dropping the money to do so and is it reliable? I'm looking more into low boost and not really looking to go crazy. Possible to run it on stock ECU? Truck is an auto by the way  and has 4.88's. New to this supercharger stuff so any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. I considered getting a new truck but you don't see to many clean 95.5 Tacoma's out there lol

From what I understand, the low boost kit and stock ECM get along great. The computer can compensate for anything the low boost kit puts out, and it brings you to v6 power levels. With the roots style blower, it'll have a very nice power curve.

An upgrade you can look at would be the v6 injectors, but otherwise it's just bolt on and go.

Don't get me started. I'm not a healthy person, cognitively, I have to have a tough problem to solve or I get bored and depressed. So I'm thankful for my supercharger, it brings me no end of little issues. Any questions you have I'm happy to answer, I have a 95.5 too.

Subbed cause I am just as curious. Just seems like you get more power out of a turbo than a supercharger for the cost

No, you don't want V6 injectors they're much smaller. You want late model 3RZ injectors.

I'm mistaken then. I read something about "pink top" injectors being what you wanted. Maybe that was 01-04 vs V6.

Pink tops are late model 3RZ injectors, started in 01-04

How much miles did you have on your truck when you installed it and how much miles does it have now? I’m curious on reliability. I know I’m not gonna piss the crap out of it lol but I wonder if there are any 3rz supercharged owners who have 200k miles. And you running low boost or high?

I have 265k miles and I'm running what could be best described at medium boost, running 6.5psi. It runs well enough but I'm still sorting out issues related to timing. Sometimes it pulls like freight train and more often than not I can make it do that with how I am on the peddle. But sometimes it hesitates a bit. This said though, I have no fuel mods besides a boost referenced FPR and late model pink top 3RZ injectors.

How many CCs are those? I thought of swapping my injectors with those if they were the ones I’m thinking of. Once I get water/meth it’s time for a smaller pulley lol

Even better than I was expecting. These will have to go on next time the blower comes off for a rebuild.

Jealous of your much newer and more lenient ECU, the older ones don't have much of a brain for boost haha

I'm gonna be there to show face and see who's new. It will probably be early since I need to be out to Surprise tomorrow.
