What spring compressor for you use for them. I'm getting ready to install mine and I'm not sure the McPherson compressor will work

I actually have something similar called CDO, which is where the letters are in the correct order.

Thanks man! It's a universal bracket so I would expect to have to modify it to make it fit and/or look the way I want. If it came like this, it probably wouldn’t be ideal for a bigger vehicle. At least with the little extra metal, it can be modified down to size pretty easily for my Tacoma.

Did a sound clip of stock vs MBRP 3 inch single using my Zoom H4n Pro sound recorder. It picks up the low frequencies better than a cell phone. Recorded from same distance and microphone settings to compare volume and sound. I've had some feedback it's the best audio playback representation of the exhausts.

Your guys’ Bro code is too much at times. I commented genuine when I saw your post. But then I saw Jerry’s post right after it and knew it was mocking my review on this one product of SDHQ. Way too much drama for me. As for your comment about it not being ideal on bigger trucks. My dad has a F-450 Super Duty and my cousin has a Chevy Silverado Heavy Duty. Universal for all models. I’m not looking for an argument on the internet like some people enjoy to do. I noticed you drilled your hole higher than what I even did. Are you using the jack nuts SDHQ provides for this install or are you bolting directly into the header? If you are using the jack nuts, it looks like your hole is centered or did you offset it so that the jack nuts don’t hit each other? I ask because mine are almost touching.

I’d maybe think about bolting it directly into the rail so that it could be more secure and without a slight rock to it. I really love SDHQs A-Pillar mounts because of that. There is absolutely no movement with those mounts. However, the jack nuts work. Just makes me feel at times someone can come by and just rip it off, but I know they can’t since there is a jack nut going in both directions. I definitely like how you rounded the edges and smoothed it out. I’m glad you didn’t do all of that in 20 mins. It wouldn’t look as professional as it currently does now. Taking your time was definitely the way to go with this modification. Your OCD really paid off. Also, good thing you only had one to do. ;) I also like your paint choice. It’s unique. Can’t wait to see this installed on your truck.

Thanks and I appreciate that. What I meant was that the size that I cut it down to may not be ideal for bigger trucks. Out of the bag, I'm sure it's perfect for a bigger truck. After all, SDHQ is an acronym for Super Duty Headquarters. I'm using the jack nuts provided and they will be centered. Once installed and compressed from the other side, I may have to cut one or both screws off a little, but it'll look clean and you'll never see the screws from between the bed and the cab... Should have it installed in the next day or two when I have time.

Awesome. Looking forward to it. That’s probably good you aren’t installing right away. Will allow for it to have proper dry time too. I’d assume 24-48 hours is ideal. What kind of paint did you use? Does it color match?
