We're they still using the Tahoe's as roadblocks back and forth to keep turn lanes blocked?

 

Tahoes in median with lights flashing.

So I get in far right lane slow down to 25 or so on 31. Which is probably 45 maybe 55 speed limit, but I doubt it.

I'm creeping forward at that speed see a green cone waving in other lane. I'm like cool green means go so I don't speed up I just stat steady around 25.

Guy basically jumps up and down trying to signal stop with a green cone.

I stop*

he's like are you stupid I'm standing right here

I said I saw you

He said well I don't wanna die tonight I wanna make it home so I can't be hit by you.

I said I wasn't going to hit you I saw you

He said why didn't you stop did you not see blue lights

I said I saw them, So I slowed down and got over.

Some other words exchanged idr and finally he waved me on to go..

I support cops, but fuck that guy

Note he didn't come up to my window.. we were yelling at each other from about 15 foot away while he was signaling away with his green cone lol

I had a weird encounter yesterday turning on 52 from 11. Got a window tint stop. My tint was installed in 2007 it is very faded and was legal back then 45 iirc

 

Never been big on enforcing traffic. I just find drugs and bad guys with furball here. Also, let me apologize for all the douchebag cops out there. We aren’t all like that. But it’s like anything else, some employees just are bad at their jobs but never get fired

In all seriousness I have been down here going on 7 years. All police are much better and very leniant for most things within reason. Jeff county can suck one sideways.

The problem as I see it, and it is Georgia (and I'm sure other states) as well, the cops come up with their "plan" as to how to direct traffic - lights, hand signals, etc. - and don't tell us what they are. We the people are somehow supposed to read their minds.

Unfortunately, their signals are not intuitive. Hence, the problem.
