My Friday became limited when the inspection for the house I'm buying on Johns Island got scheduled that afternoon. I may go up early Friday and explore the waters and access points around the island since I've got to be up there anyway. Saturday I'm on my yak for sure with you all...

For Saturday we should consider the CC Haig landing at 2 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. We can fish the flats and skinny water around the preserve where the fishing is supposed to be awesome...plus theres a pier for those who don't want to get in a kayak. I suggest those who don't have a kayak rent one to check out the waters around the preserve as it's a whole different experience on the water, even if you don't fish.

that landing looks like it is an inland one. Maybe less current and mess (the kid is good, but not that good on a windy, current river)

There'll still be some current...wind is up to the higher power. People paddle board and kayak from there all the time.

I think that landing will be the best place for everybody. Can fish the pilings for sheepshead and the flats for reds and trout. Also, those that want to stay on shore/pier can do so there too.

I'll see you tomorrow...would be easier for you to drop the RTT off at my house on your way to HHI than afterwards. @rogs6266 will hopefully be here at my place by then so we can all chat about smaller details.

Sounds like the start of an excellent plan. I'm looking forward to hanging with you guys afterwards as much as fishing with you all.

    This!

You guys are staying in Palmetto Dunes, correct? If so, I'm about 40 miles from there.

@Blackout14 i May be up for some pier fishing sometime. I’d have to get a license.

Planning on doing something with Austin at least one day.

We are packed and ready to roll out in the morning. I can’t move without a dog under my feet.

He's probably somewhere along the VA/NC line if he was in NOVA at 630. Just a guess.
