2.5” spacers and 1” blocks from auto spring kit just to get those tires on.

Really like the stance. Spacers or lift or stock?

What made you down size from the 285s. I was thinking of replacing my tires at wearout with 285 or the 265 75s. Would like to hear a good pro/con list.

So the main reason is that I didn’t want to cut the cab of a brand new truck just to make tires fit. Some people are ok with it and that’s fine, I just didn’t want to. When I had stock UCAs on I only rubbed at full lock and flex, but when I put the new UCAs on that adjusted my caster they rubbed really bad. I wasn’t aware how bad until I pulled into a gas station with some speed and the wheels hit the the cab mount and scared the crap out of me haha. Other than that, I wasn’t happy with the sluggishness and the MPG loss. I knew all of those things going in, I just realized I cared about it more than I thought I would.

As for the 265 75s I love them. I think it makes the truck seem more lifted than it is because you can see a little more wheel well. They are also really light compared to the 285s. My speedometer is back in calibration and I’ve already seen a 3 mpg increase on one tank.

Did you switch to the P rated Wildpeaks or still have E rated like the 285s were?

They are SL which I believe is P rated. I don’t wheel that much so its perfect for me. They handle really well.

Well they look great. I am pretty sure you just swayed me to the 265s. I definitely do not want to cut anything. And I drive 90% road so mpg’s matter to me too. Thanks for the info.

Nice! Glad I could help. I am also glad that I had the opportunity to try 285s and make my decision because I know if I had gone to 265/75s first I’d still be staring at pictures wanting to go up to 285s haha.

Also, the logo on your profile picture is awesome. That’s the retro Toyota logo right? I think that’d look awesome on the headrest covers if you had seat covers.
