I whole heatedly believe in aliens. I just don't believe they have visited Earth or ever will. Space is so unimaginably vast that mathematically life has evolved somewhere else. Even if human like intelligence is 1 in a billion chance, that means there are over 50 billion human level species in the cosmos. Or 1 per Galaxy roughly.

As others have said, yes, I believe that intelligent life has most likely evolved somewhere else in the universe, as vast as it is. As lucky as 'we' got on where/when/how the Earth developed, there are enough stars/planets out there that it can't just have been us.
However, I hope beyond all hope that it never comes knocking. Any society that is developed enough to come to us will probably (rightfully) see us as a much lower lifeform, and see the damage we're doing to the Earth, and wipe us from the face of it, and take it for their own.

Like most cool things, I really want to believe that aliens are out there slaughtering livestock and making crop circles. The idea of incompetent governments all over the world covering up extraterrestrial life kind of tells me it's just some crazy fantasy.

I have seen some unidentified things in the sky but those could just be the Russians.
