You sure you're seeing 18s? There better be lots more silver and white, they have been offered for 2 years longer. Barely any pro in cements in my area. But lots of cement on the ground now.

The ones I'm sure are 18's still have dealer tags on them, the owners haven't received their new plates. Stop in at area dealers and the lot is full of silver & white with no cement. Very few Pro of any color show up around here. The only 18 pro's I've seen around here are the periwinkle ones.

You're kind of proving my point if you say there aren't any cements on the dealer lots but many white and silver.

In SoCal commute traffic 100 miles a day I've seen one cement Tacoma and one Tundra over the last month.

dealer I got my 2018 cement taco from had 4 more , but out of the 6 dealers in the area only this 1 has cement. The other 5 dealers have a ton of silver , white , and black tacos. See a pro every so often but they dont last long around here and always seem to be black pros no calvary blue.

Try finding it in Limited! I had to buy it from Oklahoma when there was only 3 in the whole USA in January, and have it shipped to me! As much as I’ve been checking, even now just for kicks, cement limited is very rare in the whole country. In SoCal I only saw one other, and it was a TRD Off-road or Sport, don’t recall...and a Tundra Cement. But for some reason easier for me to find it than it was a TRD sport with both Tech and Prem 4x2...everywhere you wanted one of they even had it was 4x4...were a special group 4x2 cement haha! But seriously anyone with cement should feel lucky, they aren’t easy to come by because it’s not a market proven color on the Tacoma line up but because they are heavily sought, don’t be shocked if it stays around...I initially though Calvary blue would naturally replace it next year but now I’m just not sure anymore...demand is very high versus supply.

my local dealer has 3 cements on the lot right now. Always has them, the problem is finding a DCLB in cement. When I was searching months ago there were cements all over, just not long beds. I'm in the north east, don't see a ton driving, but they are on the lots and selling to someone.

Jones Toyota in Baltimore had a few DCLBs, at least last week when I bought my DCSB.

According to the Toyota inventory search, using my zip code, there are the following either on the ground or in allocation:

    202 super white
    209 magnetic gray
    229 midnight black
    201 silver sky
    76 quick sand
    75 cement

...but you have to keep in mind that most of those colors (maybe all of them?) are offered on all trims and configurations. The Cement color is ONLY on the TRD [sport/off road and Limited?] so that probably plays a factor somewhat.

If we look at JUST TRD sport/off road/Limited:

    110 super white
    100 magnetic gray
    120 midnight black
    100 silver sky
    64 quick sand
    75 cement

That second set of number is more "apples-to-apples" I'd say.

Anyway, just adding a little bit of data to the discussion. You can use the inventory finder and see what's in your "region" for a good comparison of exactly how many cement there are in relation to other colors. I like the web version (versus mobile) because the filter criteria are along the left and you can easily check/uncheck boxes.

That's what I'm getting at. I'm sure they're making the same amount as the other colors, but there is less on the lot because they are selling. Its my guess that it's the most common color now. My initial point was that I don't think they'll discontinue the color just to keep it exclusive. If they wanted it exclusive, they would have kept it a pro only color.

They make them in build patterns, big groups. Yesterday I was trying to find a cement, off road with Prem, Tech and Tonneau. 0 cement in 400 miles. 30 black.

I think this is somewhat accurate. I've been watching the inventory in my region daily up until about 4 weeks ago. I have yet to see an inferno, blue, or red with manual/premium/tech. They either made them and didn't send any to my region or they're about to start making more in that color. Most have been Black/Silver/White/Cement.

Also, as I've noted previously, they really advertised the heck out of Cement for 2018. It's on 75-80% of the brochure for Tacoma's. I would expect there to be quite a few of them available if they're pushing the color in ads so much.... then again, trying to find the Honda Civic Si that was featured in the brochure was the opposite... couldn't get one in Black/coupe/navi without paying nearly MSRP. Sucked.

So who really knows. Time will tell. Like I said, I don't really mind either way. I'm guessing that nobody else in my area will get Cement since they're all after SR and SR5 trims.

Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that all of those other colors have been in production since September 2016 and the cement was in a limited run up until 4 months ago could it?
