What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I was under the impression I had to drop it.

I'm confused, won't the rear mounting cushion be off-set and tilted forward since the front is higher than the rear since only the front has spacers?

 

if i still could find my stock diff bolts..id remove mine. Not doing anything but costing my diff a bit of oil when i fill it haha

 

Yeah but if you have skids that are high and tight then there is work to relocate them. It is such a pointless mod we can argue hard for either side and it still won't make a difference because it is so pointless.

 

front gets lowered not raised.

And yes, it just makes the rear mount tilted.

I had to take an elbow out of the air duct thing to get to it.

 

The more proper name would be diff tilt. Only moves the axles down like .5"

I had the opportunity to buy some Total Chaos UCA's, but ultimately ended up being too expensive. I'm running the stock UCA's.

If you’re gonna go to 2.5 your alignment might be kinda funky without Ucas.

Jba or Light Racing is what I’m gonna go with eventually.

 

This is what I hate about have a Toyota truck. Nothing ever breaks so I can't fix anything, so the next best solution is to obviously mod the hell out of it.

I like my SPC Light Racing UCAs, had them for a year and a half now with no issues at all. JBA makes a good ball joint style UCA too from what I hear.
