I hook my phone up to a Apple lightning to a/v adapter so I can mirror everything. I got rid of that Entune and put a 8” Kenwood in for more control over equalizer and watch some movies or Waze app every now and then

 

i have an droid. enlighten me further please. we dont even have entune in Canada.

 

Weird. I only have experience with my old one that thankfully has worked without any issues. I definitely wouldn't use it again on the Taco. Maybe test it on another car?

 

Entune is what Toyota calls their factory (radio) head unit. I replaced mine with an aftermarket radio that has a hdmi input

Well, I had some Derp laying around and it's what I used nearly a year ago and they still look great! Plus I figured if it ever got scratched I could pull the Derp off and respray while on the lenses. Like most things Derped, I just cleaned it good with an alcohol swab or any degreaser available to make sure there's nothing oily on the surface before I sprayed. Universal Plastic spray paint would work as it's designed to be sprayed on plastics like this.

 

I no longer need my Slee mount. Someone local expressed interest in it, but if that falls though I'll actually make an effort to sell it. (@JerryTaco)

Put my shell on (ARE CX) and took it to the drive in.

Makes for a pretty capable movie-watchin' rig.
