Quite frankly, I havn't had to use it yet, so I couldn't say! Once I bought it, the damn tire stopped losing air randomly!

How does it pull now if you do have to turn? I think I'm going to steal your design because it looks way better than what I have currently.

I wonder if you could add small casters to the front to help with turning? I'm probably overthinking this, I hardly ever drag my cooler around as it is.

Since I see you have both, how does the predator compare to the Honda, both overall and with regard to dB's?

Its a tad louder, but it is quite a bit bigger too, so to be expected. They are both extremely silent, that being said. People are always amazed that either is running on full throttle (not eco setting).
I only have 25 hours or so on it, but it has performed well for those 25 hours. Change the oil in the first 10 hours and get an NGK plug and your good to go. It comes with little dumpy useless wheels on it. Hence my mod :D

Here are some more pics on how they're secured together.
A 4' NRS strap in the back and a 6' strap up front that doubles as a handle.
If I have to turn the cooler while pulling I just pull up on the strap a bit to slide the front wheels to the direction I want to go, then keep on rollin'.
I thought about trying to incorporate steer-ability into the design, but chose to keep it as simple as possible.

If any one ever wants to mod the 3500 predator generator to run larger wheels / tires, get the below extensions (well they're for arbors motors, but all i could find). It allowed me to extend the axle and clear the body.

I didn't think about just picking up the front end a little bit.

Here's what I did for mine last year, it works great for just transportation but I'm a little skeptical of sitting on it since I doubt the threaded sections in the cooler are meant to have much weight on them. Don't have any better pictures at the moment, but the rubber feet were held in place with 5/16" bolts so I just took the bolts out and attached a clamp around an all-thread rod as an axle.

OK so went to HF Saturday for 1st time, ever. Yes, HF virgin here. Wow, that was GREAT! I'm thnking of moving just to be closer (ha). Pretty cool place as someone else here said it's like Toys Are Us for grownups. Anyhow went to look at their cordless power-pole. They've done away with the one I was hoping to see (I think it was like $100). They now have a beefier model for around $120. Unfortunately they have the model that is on display locked down so you cant play/feel it. Manager said against company policy to unstrap it... what? Wadda am I gonna do stick it under my shirt and walk out (10 foot long) or are they afraid I'll knaw off someones head with it in the store? Hold still sir I'm still knawing your head off. Ridiculous. So I tell the manager well I'm certainly not going to spend a crisp 100+ GW's without getting to pick it up and feel the heft and balance points, etc. He just walked away. I'm very confused as to this marketing strategy. But it was still fun walking around there and still spent $50 on everything I didn't need.

It’s probably a liability thing. Pole saws are heavy and cumbersome. A customer could easily drop it and the chain could hit another customer 15’ away. Run or not it will still do some damage. I imagine it’s happened before which is why there is now a company policy. That’s my guess anyway.

Is worth it for a handful of uses or should i pony up for something better? Only need it once a year maybe

Harbor Freight is stepping up their game with a new brand called Doyle, it's close to tools made by Mac, but for a fraction of the cost. They have Doyle channel locks, dikes, and slip joint pliers as this video shows how similar they are.
