    As with some states.

In MN the hashed areas adjacent to the disabled spot are not considered part of that spot.. but IF all available disabled spots are occupied or unavailable, a disabled person may park diagonally in two standard spaces.

Stopped at Walmart this morning and was going to grab a photo of the car parallel parked across two angled spaces. But before I could grab my phone she drove off revealing this truck and since I had my phone out. . . I couldn't resist.

What a disgrace you are to all of us!!

Also, people that leave carts in parking spots are just as low, worthless and lazy as asshole parkers. (especially when the cart corral is right behind me)

Help me out here. I'm exhausted so my fragile little brain can't really process much right now. What's up with this?

ADA requires an 8' access strip next to a diabled space. Two disabled spaces can share. The photographer and wheelchair star are commenting on the substandard access strip.

There are some shady lawyers out there that go after small businesses for ADA violations, often leading to them shutting their doors. With the staged nature of this shot, how her van is particularly close to the line, I wouldn't be shocked to learn that's what this is all about.

I stopped at the grocery store in my hippie Chevy Volt last night. Saw this old Benze parked so nicely & decided to squeeze in next to her. I've only had the Volt a few months so I'm not comfortable with it's edges yet so I didn't try TOO hard to get on her. As I took this pic the 70+ y/o owner walked up & asked how I expected her to get in. I let her know that I had pictures of her parking & plate & that her getting into her car was not my problem. Let her know she was welcome to wait until I finished my shopping & left but that I wasn't going out of my way to accommodate her piss poor parking job.

The cart kid came up when I came out & said she sat there staring at it for about 10 minutes then walked off mumbling to herself something about getting coffee while she waited. We both & then :fistbump:

Old or not if you have a DL you're held to the same expectations. If you can't hold up your end of it then it's time to forfeit it, maybe if more people did this we could rid the roads of elderly drivers past the point of giving it up.
