4Runner Guy buying a Taco this summer (Hopefully?)

    Hello all,
    My name is Micah and I am currently sporting an 08 4Runner 4x4, hoping to pick up a Taco this summer, if anyone is knowledgeable on the sales of Tacos here's what i'm looking for (hope posting this here isnt disrespectful, still getting my bearings around here):
    • $10-14k
    • 130k miles or lower
    • Double Cab
    • 4x4
    • Second Gen
    • Dont mind driving a couple hundred miles for a deal
    If this is an achievable purchase please let me know, I'd really love to truely join the community as I really love the Tacos I have had the chance to drive, and even though I love my 4Runner I am really looking to get a Tacoma as well. Hope I get to know some good guys and gals on here and maybe someday take to the dirt with a few of y'all :fingerscrossed:

    Welcome to TW! I don't think you will ever find a 2nd Gen in that price range unless it has a ton of miles or frame rust on it.

    I'd guess they would start around 20k and go up from there depending on the condition.

    That truck at that price wouldn't be achieved in my area, but you may find something and get a steal. My 05 just sold for $19000 when I got my 3rd gen a few weeks ago.

    Love my 4runner so much I kept it. Trade in wasn't that great in an 07 and it's been stunningly reliable. I also wanted a Taco for a change of pace, and bought one in Feb 2018. Been driving the 4runner 11 years as the original owner. Welcome to Tacomaworld. Keep em both.
