I just did mine Sunday morning. It wasn’t under the free app but when I paid for the free week pro trial I was able to go under customization settings and do it. Then I went back to ITunes and canceled since I liked some other apps better. Sorry if my subscription cancellation raised Red Flags to them

Front hitch, 5100's, 885's, Snugtop XV, Slimline II, Sumos, bed platform, AAL, interior LED lights in cab and bed, exterior camp/backup LED's, Rigid DOT Fogs and D2 Pro Spots, Mega Ultra +130 bulbs, heavy-duty fog light, spot light, and low beam wiring harness, Weathertech mats, Re-routed dif breather and A/C drip line, dash cam, front and side cameras, anytime rear camera and nav, Blue Seas fused bus bars to cab and bed, heavy-duty bus bar w/Anderson quick disconnects under the hood for powering winch, solar, air compressor, and other accessories.
Ran the 10 ga wire from my in-cab Blue Seas 5025 Fuse Block to the master power switch in the bed's switch box. This supplies the power to another 5025 Fuse Block, mounted next to it. Included in the wire bundle from the cab are wires for my Rigid Ignite lights that are installed on the back of my Front Runner rack. I like that they are small and inconspicuous. :spy:

I have the lights connected to 3 switches: a rocker switch in the cab for backing up (bottom right),
Dash Switches.jpg and two switches in the switch box.
Bed Switch Box.jpg One of these is set up as a 3-way switch (SPDT) with the one in the cab so I can also use them as camp/work lights. The other switch on this circuit is a DPDT, on-on-on switch. It allows me to turn on the left, right, or both lights. [IMG]

I hear you. My service manager was super cool though. I just told him at my 5k service exactly what I want changed and he did it without any complaints. Even adjusted the turn signal a second time on my request later. I guess it really depends where you go.

I totally forgot that the door chimes were a software setting. So I cut the wire to the door switch and used posi-taps to splice in a SPDT pushbutton switch.
Door Switch Override - OFF.jpg No more chimes! However, one of the functions of the door switch is to activate the circuit that turns off the lights when you leave the car. So, to remind me to close the circuit (normal setting), I configured the switch to light up when the circuit is open.

It’s nice to see someone else using that dead space and putting it to use. It’s a great spot for some switches

It shuts off also if you close the front door and then just reopen it. I’ve been doing a lot of wiring lately ;) Also, the seat belt chime turns off after about 20 seconds or so for the rest of the time. Therefore, if you are able to put up with the chimes at the very beginning, they do in fact turn off.

I just went outside and tested your scenario. It didn't work for my 2017 Off Road.

Now I have to go out and test KT's method!
