    Two kids.
    It's cool to see some hikers in the group. I've recently gotten into fastpacking. I'm a trail runner, but enjoy taking day hikes with my family. Last year my wife & I did the 26.5 mile Trailblaze Challenge to raise money for Make-A-Wish. The route was along part of the MST from Hanging Rock to Pilot Mountain. I'm going to be a sweeper for this year's hike next month.

    You guys are talking about doing big hikes for your 40th ... I've been toying with the idea of running 44k for my 44th birthday in July. That gives me about 13 weeks to train. I hate running in the heat, so we'll see how that goes :D. Looks like I'll be running in the rain this morning.

    I’ve actually got an employee and a good friend running in the Make A Wish trail run.

    MST is a really nice trail! Pilot Mountain via the Art Loeb whips my tail every time I hike it, regardless of the shape I’m in haha
