    Morning all

Slid back a little yesterday, feel crappy again.

    Too much dust.
The engineering in the bell cantilever is pretty impressive. 18" of travel on a 10" shock!

Stuff like that isn't uncommon down here. It boils down to how much money it takes in relation to how fast you want to drive in the desert. Some shops build them to show their work and the latest and greatest stuff you can order...pretty much a rolling display.

    Good morning.

    So very sadly true. :(
When I first got here on active duty civilians were on 4 10’s; every other weekend is a 3 day’r now...I wish we could get back 4 10’s.
Sorry Andy, hope you feel better again soon.

It's true in theory. I have a 4/10 schedule but I've been doing 5's and 6's for the last 4+ years. But I wouldn't do it if I didn't like my job plus all the OT is going to make retirement a little easier. Now, if we ever go through a management fiasco like some of you guys, I'm going to be a strict 4/10 mf'er and they can pound sand.

:pccoffee: Good morning. Made it to another day on this side of the dirt.

Perfect Jimi! I always felt if I had a job where I could 4 10's I'd take it in a heartbeat over anything else out there. Leading up to the rollout next weekend been running ~5 12's and a few more on the weekends including tomorrow morning. And next week will be a few 24 and carry on. But once the dust settles should be back to "normal" 45 hours or so a week. And the pay is the same LOL. But it is good money so no complaints. Well sure I can, like I use to tell my men a bitching man is a happy man, so guess it is time to carry my ass back to work

Well that sucks Andy, just in time for the weekend of course. Hope you feel better soon.

The tank has 2 sections. One for "service" and the otherside for ballast. In wet country a good flood will float the entire thing right out of the hole. We don't worry about that here.

Saw my first snake mowing yesterday. my pet 5+ foot blacksnake lives in culvert at my creek. he must feel the vibrations cause he will sun on concrete and watch me mow. Just for fun here is a pic from last year. find the snake.never got to see whole thing.at work it was 50/50 a timber rattler or water snake. i said timber rattler
