Pretty much. Im transitioning a little bit to get out of my current work situation. Its not a bad set up, but the growth and opportunity isn't really there so Im going to push into another avenue. For a while though, I was going to just quit until I talked it over with a coworker.

The question is, how much time are you actually ok with losing before you do something about it is the thing. If you are ok never making a dollar more a year, then hey man life is good.

Whats funny man is when I think of the great apple...all I think of is FUCK NY. I cant blame you brother, maybe its better to roll to a competitor? I had to do some recent survey work in NY and man I passionately hate the whole north east corridor.

Still a strong advocate to make Baltimore a crater.

I know in the engineering community, either you got the IN with the bosses or people simply dip. I have had one minor bump in my 5 year stay so far at my company and only reason why I havnt left yet is I need to get my six to get invested with the company to keep my stock options when I leave. Most mid level engineers pretty much jump ship in order to advance I have found in my industry. Atleast it encourages me to peace the fuck out when needed instead of wasted loyalty that probably wont do shit for me anyway.

That sucks about your experience man, I would have toasted that guy too. Did he do well after you left, or did the company learn their lesson the hard way?

I heard most batteries are made in Mexico. Optima, interstate, die hard etc. Not sure though.

His is the same but he has all kinds of shit mounted in his engine bay. After seeing damage I would be hesitant to add any more weight up there.
