Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
2015 - 2017 Tundra Tacoma LED OEM SET Cargo Bed Lighting 00016-34089

    https://www.amazon.com/Tundra-Tacoma-Cargo-Lighting-00016-34089/dp/B00SWXZPT8

I'd like to get 2 sets and operate them with rocker switches mounted in the bed. One switch in front, the other in the rear, with each switch operating only that pair (depends on if I'm opening the front or rear panel on the tonneau, or the tail gate). It would be nice to apply some filter film to the inside of the lenses so the light is blue, green, or red (something that wouldn't kill my night vision).

I do! I have one glued to the dash too! So when I meet people they instantly know I am a wiener.

I went up one tire size on my Sport to 265/70. I have no lift on mine. FX Pros from FN Wheels. Looks fine to me.

I didn't realize 2017 models had TSS sensor mounts only needed for 2018?

Any vehicle manufacturer has to plan several model years ahead so that they can have their supply chain totally in line. That said, it is not cost effective for them at all to make minor tweaks and changes to parts every model year. Therefore, take the pro grill for example, they have had the provisions for TSS since the 3rd gen was released. Very simple to modify it for the 2018 TSS garnish piece and saves Toyota a boat load of money and supply chain headache.

Or you buy it on Amazon from a seller who has a good rating, and install yourself. 160 for the same quality.

What did the skid run you? I'm tempted to get one just to make accessing the oil filter easier.

Why? When I am working on my truck, I usually have the radio going with the door open. To keep it from constantly beeping, I would have it set to ignition on, which happens to put more of a drain on the battery. When I finished working on the truck one late night, it wouldn't start and I had to jump start it! Plus, when I'm at work, I take breaks at my truck and listen to the radio with the door open. For peace of mind, I'd rather be running off of accessory than ignition.
