Well either I have some pull (doubt it)
Or someone made a mistake (possibly)
Or someone felt sorry for me (yea right)
Cause my time for the week checks out.
    I'm keeping my mouth shut.

You can see the weight of the building pushes the mastic out and makes a really good seal. The black pipe is supposed to orient to the south so it catches the sun, heats up and draws the smell out and work with the black lined tank to make it break down better. We add water throughout the service period (between pumpings) to help breakdown or it'll just bake and cake up (not good) Again, not a problem we have here with this much sun. It will catch the heat and it will work though this one is oriented kinda south/south-east.

....the science of a vault toilet. There are some other nuances between manufacturers that we consider when doing an install.

We're just a little better than 100 miles north of the border. This is in the LTVA just about a mile south of Quartzsite, Az.

Someone developed some "composting" technology for these but it's a little too involved for us, especially when usage is high during winter. IIRC, the time it takes for composting to work is too slow and they'd fill up too fast so we just have them pumped out a couple times per year. And even with the composting process, they eventually have to be cleaned out.

I appreciate what work he's done to his Toyota but doesn't come close to the Pre Runner I saw yesterday at the car show !!

Theres a whole science to the composting ones too... They have them below the rim in Grand Canyon NP. Several problems they've encountered. Composting doesn't do real good in a desert environment. Over-use also inhibits composting, even in a optimal environment, (and GC is wayyy overused). They have to pack it out via mule train every other year. Nice facilities that dont work as intended.

On another note. Shitty day yesterday. Just when you think things are out of your head and have been dealt with, they come roaring back. I was going through some photos in the morning and found a bunch of our burned up property (while it was still green, where we sat on the deck and enjoyed the views.) Photos of Yosemite from our nearly every weekend trip to the eastern Sierra... Needless to say, I ate a shit ton of junk food yesterday. While it tasted good, I felt bad about doing that... Personal trainer this morning, got me going and made the endorphins kick in, so doing much much better today!!

Anyway, y'all have a great weekend!!
