    Not so fast...
See the label on my OEM grille below. It says “Made in the USA”. The FTC has a 40 page book of standards defining what can be labeled this way. It generally requires substantial manufacturing or assembly in the US. Obviously, there’s nothing “assembled” on the grille; it’s a molded piece of plastic. Therefore, I would suggest it actually is produced here in the US. At the very least, buying thru a Toyota dealer provides protection and peace of mind over the eBay options for about $20 more: https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota....grille-tacoma-please-call-to-order-pt22835180

I don't think this is true. I bought the $150 Amazon grille and it looks perfect, took off the center and installed the factory garnishment and it works perfect, no would ever be able to tell it's no OEM. As far as dealers selling the Pro grilles for $175? I need proof, I know the parts guys in over 7 Toyota dealers and NONE of them would even sell it to ME for that price! Furthermore, they aren't even supposed to sell them to 18' trucks that aren't Pro's! I'm not talking out of my butt, I've actually talked to these people...Sooooo I need some actual proof on this, please...

It also says you must provide a VIN number from a pro before they will sell it to anyone.

So what? Go to AutoTrader, find a 2018 Pro for sale (preferably not from a dealer in case they have a way to check) and use it. That’s what I did, no problem.

I also purchased an OEM grill, and had the same label on the box. There was another label indicating the manufacturer was Ventra Salem Plastics LLC. They are located in Salem, Ohio.

    Thanks for linking my vid!

It was the first time doing a AAL but I got it done. Just don't be scared to yell at it and push it around.

Here's my follow up video where I fixed my Taco lean but it shows more details how to get the fronts done. I ran out of battery on the first video to show install.

No. You clearly want to be confrontational. If you don’t care to take the help being offered, that’s your choice but I have no obligation to “prove” anything to you.
