I hear you, but look at all the "newbs" popping up over in the Alpha thread with registration/software problems. I think right now he's dealing with a lot of that, getting ppl set up. Not making excuses, just not ready to go apeshit just yet.

 

Yeah just a little after 1900 where he's at... unless he's flown the coop again lol

 

I'm really trying to be understanding and patient but this update was promise more than 3 weeks ago. Then Thursday announced that it will be happening Friday. Why consistently give promises that are never met and hype us all up promising it will be the best tune. Kind of like waiting for the Christmas that never happens.

 

I may be wrong, but we (myself included) may be partially to blame for the delay. I don't want to rehash the whole thing over again and stir up a hornets nest, but there was some negative feedback on the test tune. Also, Mat said he was tinkering with the M/T ECU. He may not have wanted to release that version at the time.. IDK. We'll just have to wait and see.

I know everyone's basically just venting right now but for the record, there's not really another option except to continue to wait and be patient. Unless you sell your kit/hardware

 

Don't get me wrong, so far the tune is much better than stock just not what I was hoping for in terms of HP and Torque gains. I want to put it in 4 low slip the clutch and light up all 4 lol....

 

There was negative feedback on the test tune?? On 2t3? If so they are liars!

 

People don’t know how to wait. It also seems people want this now, yet ignore the fact that tuning this platform is still new and very much still in development.

 

This and the Tacoma tune is not the only iron Matt has in the fire.I think he is doing great for a one man show...

 

I think this is more accurate for the alpha thread. For this thread, there is obviously some discontent being expressed by some members concerning missed deadlines/timeframes regarding updates and whatnot, and communication in general.

For people with very real issues with previous map versions, I am sure that the wait feels incredibly long whereas you and I who don't have issues, well, Mat could take as long as he wanted really since anything released just becomes a bonus

 

He's definitely pulling off some heroics as far as I am concerned
