Does anyone on here have an Instagram account?
Here’s mine but since I don’t have my Tacoma yet, there aren’t any Taco pics: @hawkins_lab_18
BTW, I’m debating whether I should look for a used 3rd Gen or buy new. What do you guys think?

Unless it's going to have a lots of miles on it (more than the standard 12k/yr), buying a 1 or 2 year old Tacoma is going to cost just as much as a new one (assuming you don't go with MSRP).

The only real benefit from buying a used one is if you find one that has some mods that you were already looking to add. You can easily negotiate down the price so that the added mods don't really add much to the price of a stock Tacoma.

If you're going to pay the price of a 3rd gen with barley anything depreciated. Just grab a new one. Though 2nd gens are nice too.

My insta is in my sig. If you're using on your phone, just turn it sideways and sigs show up.

I guess I should have introduced myself. My name is Don. Two weeks ago my wife and I bought a 2017 Camry to replace her car. When we were at the dealer I was looking at the Tacoma and was immediately hooked.

I’m currently driving a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with 156k miles. Not a bad truck, but not very exciting either and it’s going to be time to replace it sooner rather than later. I’m going to have to wait though before I can upgrade as I’m going through a career transition at the moment. Looking for a carpentry or woodworking job.

I’m hoping I can meet up with you all the next time you have a get together.

Those are good trucks, and of course you are welcome to join us.

And while we are talking about mod day, what’s everyone’s opinion of May 20th which is a Sunday?

Thanks G.T.! I will probably need to do some light body and interior repairs to get my Sport Trac ready to sell.

Does anyone in the group have experience with bondo on fiberglass? I want to learn how to do it but I’ll need to take it somewhere to have the rear quarter panels painted.
