Sadly enough my sister and bro in law don't have any. WTF is up with that, right?! LAME! We'll see if I can get out and grab a few. Only here today basically and then heading home tomorrow, hopefully by noon, to make it home at a decent time.

Haha, funny thing is this guy is a huge fan of Toyota, start st out as a Toyota tech. Learned early that rovers pay the bills so he specializes in rover restoration. showed me one yesterday that was worth $200,000

 

Pretty sure i did work for a car dealer or a rental place right next to that place, I think it was a rental place

 

what shop? assuming it isn't Rovers North up in VT though I know they are capable of having $200k+ restored rovers.

Morning all. Some of you have been to my house and know the neighborhood, I woke up this am to a loud grinding noise that sounded like it was in my driveway, jumped up looked out but nothing. When I get up an hour or so later there is a driving school car using my van as practice cause it is in the street in front of house. I walk out and before i can get down the walk he (instructor) has the driver stop reversing and drive away. Throw the van in the driveway but notice a large spot in the curbstone where someone hit it, prob my grinding noise from earlier. I bet if they hit my van or who ever parks out in the street, they wouldn't come knock on my door at 630 in the morning. Sorry just venting.

 

The school down the street from my house is always using the parked cars here as practice. It is just a matter of time.

Do you guys think this a good deal/worth it? Or should I just go straight to 5100s? I'm looking for a little lift and possibly a better ride. I'm running the stock 2013 TRD Sport suspension at 60K miles now.

Go with 5100s or better if you can afford it. IMO.

 

@Landnyk ask @Cativelense about his Pro suspension that he just installed. That looks like another great option.

 

The problem with that is that they're not around anymore from what I've seen. There's rumors that the FJ Pro suspension might work, but no confirmation of that just yet..

 

I missed out on that.

 

I've seen or or two pop up for sale here, but of course people are douches and were trying to sell it for the full price instead of what they paid for it (sale price). I'll keep an eye out for you in case one pops up. Might not have much luck though... The 5100 set up I hear a lot of good stuff about too, so that's not a bad option. Plus the 5100s are adjustable and the Pro suspension isn't, if that matters to you.

 

I was home on my lunch break a few months back and there was a driving school car practicing parallel parking on my truck. I actually went out there and asked them not to practice on our vehicles... now they use the neighbors car across the street
