It took about a six pack watching the paint dry, but finally got my ditch light brackets painted. Been silver for about a year. I guess better late then never.

LOL on the cheap eats to make budget headspace for truck toys. I understand this concept. :D

What are you having done ?

    :burnrubber:

Sweet. Looking forward to your impressions. I like having a little rumble in my Taco.

Those things do look like a good idea. I'm assuming they could stand the temps of the Taco's glovebox when parked in a superhot summer parking lot.

    They will look good.

Is that bedliner coating painted on them ?

I'm really enjoying that same size....no lift needed....no rubbing....fits my needs.

Haven't done much with my 3rd Gen this week other than to drive it back & forth to work.

Had yesterday and today off.....resting and trying to shake a cold.

Did make a breakfast run this morning and had some fun with the back-up camera. You'll have to forgive me as this is the first vehicle of my own that has this feature....bought my son a new Jeep two years ago that has the camera but I seldom drive it.

It really came in handy the other day when I was hooking up to a trailer....so much easier than ever before....first attempt was right on the money.

I didn't put the d ring back on. It was a while ago and I forget what the issue was, but with the extra tie down points it isn't necessary. You could use it somewhere else though.

Thanks for posting. I almost bought to cool white in fear the warm white would be too yellow. After seeing this I’ll be going with the warm white. How did you wire up the “kill switch” in the bed?

No problem. Glad I could help with your decision. Matt is absolutely amazing to work with. I was super unsure on which direction to go but knew I just didn’t like my current setup of the Cool White. Matt sent me small sample pieces of each so I could see which one I would prefer before going ahead with the purchase. The Cool White was the exact coloring I currently had on the truck. This was my before pic...

    46851E04-74C8-4774-AE27-ADCBFACFBA49.jpg

And now obviously with the warm white look...

    02F24B7B-8A92-49B5-9C77-6887F4157DFC.jpg

It’s just so much better of a look and more natural with the warm white. No. There’s a few ways to wiring a kill switch. What I did for my wiring is the following:

    Option 1:
    Start:
Install the Bed Lights, Ground the Negative Wire, and Connect the Positive Wire to the Kill Switch.

    4FDB9675-D9DF-4E8C-8D9C-4979FBD13008.jpg

    DBF1B94E-8329-40FB-81CB-C04970852F66.jpg

Then route another Positive Wire from the Kill Switch to the Engine Bay, and then route it through the firewall to your in Cab Switch.

    Option 2:
    Start:
Inline fuse holder from the battery or Add-a-fuse at the fuse box, run power wire from there to the switch in the Cab, 2nd wire from the switch out to the power side of the LEDs.

Ground wire from the LEDs to the tailgate pin switch, 2nd wire from the TG pin switch to trucks ground.

I didn’t add the in-line fuse that came with the kit because I already had an add-a-fuse attached to my Switch. Hope this helps :)

Get home Friday and there was another amazon box on the doorstep. Looks like I had some other items in my cart. I’ll now be stepping up my truck/car washing game as well:notsure:

I've been in touch with him....had questions about the wiring config. He was very helpful....just as you said.

Great recommendation on the warm white.....your pics are EXCELLENT example pics !!!!

Great advice.....timely, too. He only does two batches a year, I believe.....deadline is drawing near on the upcoming batch.
