Question for you 3gen guys, just got a new Tacoma. Came with the factory tonneau cover, as I will be purchasing a camper shell, the cover will have to go. Do I need to get new bed rail caps once it is removed, that are cutouts for the cover catch’s. How much trouble is removal, I know someone has done this. Brand new tonneau cover for sale in about a month. Thanks

Really, I mean what would a receipt resolve? It would only show that someone purchased the product for a particular price at a prior date. No relevance to what is going on right now, at this moment.

 

I was thinking the bed rails. Has anyone attempted that? What hardware would I need?

 

Sell your cover and switch rails with the buyer so you both get what you need.

Was just bringing it back in for their once over after lift install. I'm an old mechanic and had the lift rolled into the loan (labor too). Wanted, at least, one vehicle I didn't touch to drive it the way I want and this was it! This is also the first vehicle I've gotten with a factory back up cam and... man, have I been missing out! Even added a front one too!

Today wasn't anything done *to* ill trucko but *with*. Having not had a truck for the last several years since moving back to the U.S.... being able to go and buy a few 4'x8' sheets of ply wood without having to call a friend or rent a truck is just FAN-DAMN-TASTIC!

 

Ok, I get it, no one here cares. I already have mine, so I won't bring it up again. It's been put to rest!
