Went great! Was a wild night. I’m tried as all hell though.

Now that that’s over... I go to check my Miller panel that I painted the other day and I didn’t let the Isopropyl solution I was using to clean it in between wet sanding coats dry properly and as a result there’s paint bubbling and orange peel. Gotta redo the whole panel - yay!

As in a Nissan Xterra? When I was a kid first learning how to drive, I always wanted one of those..loved the way they looked and still kind of do. Then I got my first Toyota ('99 Prerunner) and everything changed

Please tell me it’s the X-Terra SE. See the upper right hand corner of my toolbox lid.

Gotta switch the SE badge from the right of the “X-Terra” emblem to the left. seX-Terra.

I found out later they had a supercharged manual trans factory option...man that would be awesome to have. Although I have that now in a Tacoma lol.

    not really.

The supercharger was never a "factory" option. It was a dealer option. Installed at the dealer by the dealer.

I check all the X-Terra’s I run across at pick-n-pulls, just because my friend has one and always needs parts. It’s always the base automatic option. I’ve never seen a manual let alone a Supercharger.

I meant the Xterra had a supercharged option, although it may have been a dealer add on as well.

    ah gotcha.

No the nissans were boosted from factory I believe. Or could be. I don't really know. I know that the boosted motor for the frontiers that were competing with the 1st gen tacomas had only 10hp more than a non boosted tacoma. haha

Yeah you don't see many of them around anymore....not sure how long it was available but I've seen a few. They usually have the 'supercharged' emblem on them like some of the Frontiers did.
