No, before - it blows the fire out

I keep a 7 lb, sharpened spade and a pulaski in my truck. Also take an electric chain saw that works well on the inverter, too.

If you are going to carry a useless fire extinguisher, let it be one that doesn't require you to be close.

Yep, that is about what I was expecting.

At least that one isn't filled with carbon tetrachloride like the ones I posted. I'm still a bit skeptical about these types of extinguishers.

They do make vehicle systems, but the price would have most people shitting. Think big stuff like mining equipment, plane deicing and heat carts

One of our front end loaders has this, came in handy after it caught fire a few months ago.

They are not that expensive - I had an old bayliner that we put two 20# extinguishers in the gas V8 compartment with a pull cable kit. There’s cable kits on EBay for $30

Had the suppression system in a Maxxpro go off on a guy in Afghanistan. He decided to go into the truck with a lit cig and tool a drag right in front of one of the sensors. Cloud of white dust billowing out the rear followed by him covered head to toe in powder. Took him a couple days to clean it out.

I'm talking about something that's properly engineered with the right parts on a piece of equipment that cost a lot of money. The best thing you can do with a Bayliner boat is let it burn

Or... have the hull delaminate while underway crossing a choppy open ocean channel and nearly sinking unless the power is kept up? Notice I said “had”? :)
