    Is this the whole 'beeper' or just the plastic clamshell?

    Also, does anyone know a way of finding out if my truck is "beeper compatible"?
    You know, that deal where the vehicle is modern enough that it should have a remote, but the seller doesn't give you one.

    You could probably punch your VIN into the Toyota VIN lookup tool and see if keyless entry is among the listed features that the the truck was built with. Pretty sure that if it came with keyless entry from the factory it has the "buzzer".
