Went into the outskirts of town today and bent an alignment cam tab. This weekend got expensive.

turns out driving my truck once ever 2-3 weeks over the winter wasn't enough... Killed a cell in my battery, but fortunately Ressler warrantied it for me. I'll make sure to use a trickle charger next year.

yeah, I knew better, but got busy and lazy. I have a work truck that I drive daily, so I have to intentionally get out and drive the tacoma. I think I've put 4,000 miles on it since I moved here last year, including two trips to boise...

If not parked in a heated garage, a temperature compensated smart battery charger will keep your battery fully charged when continuously connected to prevent a gradual build up of lead sulfate. I use a tethered fused quick disconnect. With full synthetic oil and a full charge, I had no problem starting at -20F. A trickle charger can undercharge in the winter and overcharge in the summer. Driving habits, temperature and battery PM matter!

I learned something today. Thanks! Looks like the charger I ordered before I found the dead cell, is the temp compensated smart charger, so I should be set for next year.

Good, if you need some help or want to see how I hook mine up, send me a private message. I live just off of Baxter approximately two miles West of 19th.

Yeah, it's a real beauty of a day in the Flathead today. Rivers are high and brown. Time to go put a bear in the freezer.

I have heard it referred to as BozAngeles. LOL. Leaving Crazy Town, CA and moving to Montana. Land of the free and home of the sane. My mom grew up in Anaconda and I spent many summers there growing up. Uncle was Principal at Anacoda High - Copperheads!

If you want to leave CA don't come to Bozeman. It's the same shit on a smaller scale. Viewpoints and all (TW rules do not permit more explanation).

Montana is definitely not the land of the free. But then again, I'm rather opinionated. ;)

What's up folks? Moved to Missoula from Bend, Oregon to work for onXmaps. I was bummed to leave Bend but I'm pretty stoked to come back to Montana since I went to MSU. You may have seen my fully loaded Taco driving around town but luckily I found a place so it's back to daily driver weight levels.
I was wondering if the Missoula area is similar to Bozeman in that the fun stuff doesn't really thaw out until around June?
