Anyone know of any fab shops in NJ, preferably northern, that sell or make skids for out trucks?

Or recommend where to get an IFS skid without the crazy shipping costs

 

Is there a bushing in here where the spring wraps? Just found the source of my noise when it started creaking today. I doused it in liquid wrench and it’s quiet now.

 

Hmm, I would think there's a bushing in there, but I don't recall noticing one when I swapped leafs...

If it’s rubber, I suggest a poly bushing as a replacement

I feel like leaf spring bushing fail rate isnt all that high for the need of poly..... poly can transfer vibes alot more than rubber, and squeak alot more.....

Just a thought Floyd... but open to hear your take

Mobtown's shipping wasn't bad at all.

 

So, I can't find that thread (or article) again, maybe you guys would know. After replacing wheels and sensors, I pressed the "Reset" button, and of course it didn't work. How do I stop the "Learn" procedure? Was it shorting pins 4 and 13? Anything else?

Agree that the vibration transfer is a lot more with poly bushings because poly is a lot harder/firmer than conventional rubber. But the theory is sound that poly is a lot more durable than rubber because of the difference in chemical and physical properties.

Plus, I’m a victim of the product marketing machine and TW expertise. Most everything I’ve installed/modded on my truck is based on a lot of marketing brainwashing. The sales pitches are aimed at my wallet. And they’ve succeeded for the most part.
