    I like that video! It does do a good job explaining it and negating my 40/40/80 analogy, but we’re not talking about two vehicles of the same mass/build traveling at exactly the same angle and exactly the same speed.

    Newton’s rule, every force has an equal and opposing force. If both objects are the same mass, same speed and accel, then then the forces cancel, meaning it’s like hitting a wall with one vehicle at 40 mph. So adding both then dividing by two still yields the “same answer” it’s not how you go about it.

    F = MA

    You calculate that then take the difference since they are in opposite directions. However, the mass is clearly different and likely speeds. We can assume accel is constant since they were likely both cruising. So technically we’d be calculating force with speed as an additional variable and if you want to get super technical there is also friction force going both ways from the road, but I don’t want to mind F you guys so yea...

    Shaker gets it though :)

    Glad you and the dogs are ok! One thing I will think about with every truck I buy from now(my current truck is my first truck/offroad vehicle) on is, What color will hide pin stripping better? I'll never have a black truck unless its just a wrap.
