Picked her up today with 5 miles on the odometer. Always been a Subaru guy and I still have my wrx but I love camping and the outdoors but my forester just wasn’t cutting it anymore. New member excited to be here !

Sry - haven't posted as much as I used to during the old days of TW - yet, I lurk - therefore I am.

Recently (about two weeks ago) swapped my '09 Tacoma TRD Sport - Black Sand Pearl - DCLB (Toytec 3" lift, LR UCA's, yada yada):

For an '18 Tacoma TRD OR - Cement - DCSB (Black out pkg, Qi Wireless, Tow, blah blah):

Will be picking it up tomorrow (Sat - 4/28/18) after the ReadyLift 3" lift, TRD (black) 17" wheels and Toyo A/T Open Country 33's. Pics to follow shortly.

Heyo to all my old TW buds who remember me! =)

    Not much stock left.
Took the Cement Taco into Midnight 4X4 today, so they can start surgery on Monday.

Decided to switch things up and go with the King Piggy backs.

Very good very long day. Extremely happy with the new truck and mods! Here are the pics:

At the dealership (Everett Toyota in Mt. Pleasant, TX). Their talented suspension guys did the lift, wheels and tires:

    ... and at home:

Knife closed. Miss my '09 under dash tray, flip down coin tray and overhead glasses storage.

Toyo A/T Open Country P285/70R17's on Toyota TRD Black Satin 17" rims (also available for Tundra):

Have now put a little over 100 miles on the truck and am enjoying it very much! No off road, yet. Have to wait for the clean to wear off. Gimme a week. Absolutely loving all the new tech stuff my '09 never heard of. Amazing.

BTW - If any of you are in the NE TX or SE OK area, Everett Toyota in Mt. Pleasant, TX is truly an outstanding dealership! My salesperson (Isaac) did everything he said he would and then some - from the truck being delivered exactly as ordered (and ahead of schedule) to free T-shirts to a free lunch at a great Tex-Mex restaurant located next door! The finance department (where the hard shit hits the fan) was painless, thanks to Angel. He ran through the options, I said no, he said no prob. Bam! Good guys.

Will keep you updated of any changes. Let me know if you need any particulars.

Chemical Guys Jet Seal and Butter Wet Wax, about 5 hours of elbow grease. It looks amazing. The sealant and wax added depth to the color.

That’s an understatement. I’d just stand in my driveway at night after each aesthetic mod and just stare in joy..that’s a sickness if you ask my wife.

What tonneau cover is that? Looks good, looks OEM but I thought they don’t make OEM for long beds?

This has been the same story on cement, even when all the other truck colors were present...this is for Limited trim build on Toyota’s website, “out of inventory” has been a common theme here for Cement. Now it’s plaguing Limiteds in general in almost all colors except black and white...

They're just displaying what's available in your area. I can build all the models here. Toyota changed that a few years ago.

Nice! Was wondering how a sealant and wax would impact the looks of this paint color. Mostly since it’s nice and dark and gray in the shade and bright and dull (I don’t like it as well) in the direct sun.

Most lighter colors don’t get a lot of depth from sealant/was and are far less rewarding to work on. The wife’s van is silver and pretty much looks the same no matter what I do or don’t do to it. Interested in how Cement does with my regular treatment.

Yea, Tonneau cover is OEM, also has the bed mat. Got the truck from Toyota West in Columbus Ohio. All it needs now are the Predator side steps. Going to call dealer tomorrow to find out how much.

Just picked her up today. Wasn't expecting it till June since I put the order in 2 weeks ago. But they got one early with the same specs I wanted. So happy with it.
