    Hero 5 black. Worked fine all last year. Started having major issues with software (quick stories) around January. Had issues today with the battery (100% charge when we got there. 5% charge by the first ride and it was off all day) now I can view it from the faulty editing software they have (but its laggy as hell) or the 1.5" screen on the back. That's it. No editing. No smooth playing.

    Actually it's weird almost seems like the comp doesnt fully read it because I cant open anything from the folder and under the quik program it doesnt even show the camera it just loads the glitchy vids directly.

    Software on the go pro. Can you go into the app on your phone/pc options and do a hard reset to wipe out the go-pro only and re download the software update?

    I've contacted them before when I first started having issues. They blame my drivers being out of date, yet they are all current. I've tried to reinstall an older version but I cant get windows 10 to open an .exe file
