Good morning, Usually if the bolt was stuck good enough to cause it to break an extractor seldom works. I usually drill the bolt out as much as possible and chase the threads with a tap. “Usually” does the trick.

I got a chance to play around with the Cruiser a bit yesterday, so I took off the running boards. I think its looking better already!

Looks like you had a 2inch lift put on, good call pulling those things off!

 

Nothing yet, but that definitely made a huge difference. I think the T-bars can be adjusted to level it out. It looks a little squatty in the front to me.

 

I haven't heard anything about them but they look nice and Slee has a good reputation

I only know too this because of my recent research, but Slee is very highly reguarded in the Cruiser community. The Tacoma bumper looks great!

My dad completely restored it from the keel up. It’s almost a new boat entirely. Great boat. Super seaworthy, just not super fast... sounds like you have your hands full though! I’ll be sailing her around the cape. Probably see you on the water Fran! Hard to miss our boat, she’s one of a handful left in the world. Lots of mahogany and bright wood. It’s raining where I am, so putting off pulling the engine till tomorrow or the next day. Plenty of other stuff to get ready for launch.

 

For curiosity sake, what's the benefit of keeping the OE receiver vs the hidden receivers that most bumpers have?

 

It does slightly change the towing geometrys

 

the benefit is you dont need a 12" drop hitch to tow a small tractor supply trailer like I do!
