Really the important ones are the ones including the stones. Thor dark world, dr strange, avengers, guardians of the galaxy, captain America, black panther. None of the ironmans had much of a impact on that besides great character development of ironman.

 

Thats not even close to what they go for. that is how much a used one I drove was.

Most the sales guys down south here won't even lease them.

 

Changed the oil in igor today and air filter. Put the new stock fender one..way better.

Fresh tires on Friday and alignment. Drives great. Put 500 miles on igor in 2 days. No issues. Oil leak stopped too.

Went to yellowstone today. Was pretty and saw lots of elk. But not much else.

1400 mile drive tomorrow.

St Louis to record the symphony and Wynton Marsalis! Gonna be sweet.

And eat lots of good food as well as empty out Devin's storage unit and tow it all back. Not a fun as moab..but still going to be very fun and cool to see old friends and work with some of the best musician's in the world.

Bet there's lots of good camping in the way. I'm half tempted to throw my rtt on the cruiser for my trip up to Seattle so I can take my time on the way there and back and see some parks.

It is not for his steady paying job, He's taking a week leave w/o pay to take a week long job that he was recruited for (with pay) expenses not reimbursed (guess) but there is the recovery of his SO's personal property. WIN WIN, The job he is going to do should be a great benefit to future career moves. As a plus, he probably wont have to drive in snow or dodge deer for a week.

Congrats Marc, I know it was a difficult choice for you.

Really? $25K? A 15 year old time capsule. Average 400 miles a year. That is crazy.

 

Alright, car quest has optima batteries and the auto craft gold batteries which seem like a good choice. What should I look for in cold cranking amps and the group size?

 

If you pos and neg cables and battery hold down are still stock, a group 24F battery is the largest you can go without modifying things to make a larger one fit as the posts will be in the right place for your cables. The next size down will be a group 35 and is what it came with from the factory.

Either size will be beyond the minimums for CCAs.

Is the auto craft gold an AGM type? Or is it a 'flooded' lead/acid starting battery?

 

I just put in a 24f Duracell AGM from Sams Club. Rebraded Deka. Super happy with it thus far.

I barley got the nut on the rear stock battery mount, and it's moved around on me a bit while wheeling. So that's the absolute max of the stock location. I did order a battery cage I'm hoping I can make work for the stock location and keep everything secured.
