I did disconnect my boost/vac gauge from the boost port and connected it to the inlet side and didnt see any noticeable vacuum to indicate a restriction but that was also with the 2.7 pulley. I am now running a 2.5. It's also hard to tell without a datalog to plot. I was just looking at the gauge as I applied throttle.

I can't leave anything well enough alone
I'd be very interested in that. Would be a good improvement for anyone that doesn't have a UCON...

Well I guess it is a good thing I like to change my oil. Question is, is it really possible that I am really that rich or is the Innovate that far off? What would be a good number for my long term and shirt term fuel trim?

Also what would you suggest I use as a tune? If I wanted to keep it simple? Uni-chip? Ucon? Haltech?

I doubt the stock ECU would ever let anything get that rich. Would be targeting a really low AFR. It's usual thought isn't to throw more fuel at things, when it gets overwhelmed it just pulls timing.

In open loop, there isn't any feedback. That is the definition of Open loop. With the inconsistency of the TRD reflash, combined with that elevation, it is probable and very likely happening as such for him.

@mr.trd could swap in another gauge to cross reference accuracy, but I have my money on the fact that there would be a negligible difference. Innovate gauges work well.
"Simple" only applies against something less simple. The simplest of the aftermarket tuning solutions, which uses effectively closed loop the whole time, is the UCON.

It is my suggestion that @mr.trd installs a Denso first, as I do not trust the fact that he has to calibrate the sensor every single time or whatever frequency he was.

Hey bud, try replacing the sensor first. If you are still receiving error code 8 (I was getting the same code) than the gauge is just a POS, much like mine was.

What version sensor are you using? Bosch LSU 4.2 or 4.9? I have listed LSU 4.9 sensor part numbers and their compatibility in a link within the very first post of the page. If you have a 4.2, I have no solution for you as I have not looked into that version sensor replacement in the Denso brand. Yes they are plug and play. The one I used required breaking a small tang inside the sensor connector. After that it was all good, and fully plug and play. Still working amazing to this day. No calibration needed, EVER with my AEM X-Series gauge.

Looks a little on the lean side at the end of first gear, but at that point boost is only 4psi so it might be ok? @Torspd

The rest of the pull, it never gets over 12:1 AFR except near the end of third it gets to 12.5 for a brief moment. Could be running out of fuel or just might be the TRD flash. I forget, are you still running the stock fuel pump?

Negative. DW255 with a 320 awaiting install. I started observing this phenomenon a few months ago, but since I hardly drive my truck I have procrastinated on doing anything about this.

This is why I originally installed a fuel pressure gauge. It sucks when you don’t know. You are on TRD flash, right? Maybe try temporarily boost referencing the fuel pressure regulator and do a few pulls to see if it changes the AFR at all.

Get you one of these and your choice of fuel pressure gauge.

Thanks man. I know you're right about the fuel pressure gauge. I also have a new fuel filter to swap in as well and was going to see if that helps.

Regarding the boost reference, I haven't paid too much attention to it to be honest. If the AFR changes, what does that indicate?
