They are absolutely a do it yourself install. However, Okole screen presses their logos on to the middle of the backrest, and were not interested in putting the logo on the headrest for a custom order. So myself, and a few others took our headrest covers to local embroidery shops to have various Toyota brand logos stitched in.

Is the concensus to unbolt the front seats and take them out to do those?

I didn't unbolt anything. Probably would have been easier, but I took my time and it still turned out clean.

I unbolted the front seats but didn't take them out, just leaned them front and back as needed to get them on

I didn't unbolt them, but probably would have been a bit easier. I have small hands and had a few issues getting under the bars on the passenger side. I just kept adjusting the seat for space in different areas.

I’ve put my headrest on a couple times they look correct either way. On the inside of the cover there is a thinner black side and a thicker white side is this the front of the cover?

That’s the way I put the back seat head rest on. But that’s puts the padded side to the back.

I too got black on black and the other two tones sure look nice, but at least the way saw it was that any little stain on the lighter colors in the center would surely be noticeable, and that would bug the shit outta men. so knowing that any little stain won't pop out is some what a peace of mind for myself.

I got full piping and the velcro attached in the front on the headrest, otherwise the piping would be facing the backseat.

Hmm, I stand corrected. I watched the headrest install video in Youtube and the dude said the velcro should connect in the back. The one he installed in the video didn't have piping though.

    Got a pic of yours?
