Just under 7 hours for my friend and I to do the brakes all around on his Acura and my front/rear lift install. Not too shabby...an extra set of hands were definitely awesome this time around. New shoes and alignment tomorrow afternoon. Crappy post-lift install pic below since, "pics or it didn't happen."

@PyritePirateBill How did you make your fishing rod holder?

 

Fairly straighforward, but heavy as fuck. The worst part was lifting those bitches into place. I had to check and make sure which leaf went on either side; both were marked identical with an O next to the arrow, and I had thought that one was supposed to have a + on it for the driver's side.

 

No the O is right on spec the + is above spec - is right under

 

The 4.0s are great little straight sixes. I wouldnt be surprised if the original 4.0 put most of the miles on that jeep.
Why they stopped using that engine is beyond me. Probably epa or some crap.

 

So both of my leafs had an O, that means they are both right on spec (and the same)? Since they were both identically marked and I didn't really find anything that specified a side by searching, I just installed them and hoped I wasn't missing something.

 

There is no difference on left or right packs.

 

Anyone want to wheel on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week? I'm thinking flagpole maybe?
