It’s probably going to be my go-to around the campfire this summer. Cheap, tasty, and easy to share with my friends that aren’t into craft.

Recipe doubled for 10G (from CB&B)

8. 5 lbs Simpsons Golden Promise Pale
3 lbs Maris Otter
8 lbs Belgian Pils
2 lb 4 oz Munich 10L
1 lb Red Wheat
1 lb German dark wheat
2 lb Victory
1 lb Special B
1 lb Carapils
4 oz Black Patent

We won a 10lb bag of Golden Promise, so I am using that to replace some Maris.
I also had 1 lb of red wheat, Defalcos Homebrew Supply didnt have the red wheat so I tasted 2 grades of German Wheat and went with the German Dark for the other lb.


Mash @144 for 20 minutes
Mash @158 for 40 minutes

2 oz Styrian Goldings 60:00
1 oz Styrian Goldings 20:00

Belgian Dark Candi Syrup in primary later.

OK, so a couple months ago a friend has some of this.



I am going to try to make it.
I will do primary, then transfer to a 15G plastic malt container. I will add wine soaked oak spirals and a bug culture and see where it is in a couple months.

Then it can be drank, remade and cherries added.

This is a special beer. Its named after my brothers girl friend who recently passed away. Her uncle owns a local brewery. It's a lambic style sour. I'm not sure if I'm going to drink it or just keep it on display.

Yeah I'm gonna have to try it lol. Its kings brewery in Rancho cucamonga.

Yeah man I actually haven't even been there lol. I just found out about it right when my son was born and that kinda slowed my brewery hopping down lol. So I'm really not even sure how their beers are. This will be my first. I was at my brothers graduation all day yesterday so I had a friend pick these up for me.
