    Will a 285/70R17 tire rub on a with a 3” lift?
Wheels are 4.5 backspacing and 0mm off set

With a 3 inch lift, You probably need alignment with more caster and/or aftermarket upper control arms.

I just got a 3" King lift with Total Chaos UCA. Tomorrow I am getting 285/70R17 Toyo Open Cpountry MT on 17x8.5 Method NV Matte Black. 0mm offset

I was going to do a cab mount chop today but was not able to. I am worried my tires are going to rub when they are installed. My buddy has a 2017 Tacoma and has -6 offset wheels with a 1.25" lift and his do not rub.

Have your alignment adjusted to get more caster to move the wheels forward to stop the rubbing. More caster will also make your steering less squirrelly at highway speeds. You still might need the CMC.

I did not lift my truck yet but know you are bound to have unexpected problems. I always had surprises when I lifted my Jeeps in the past.

Expect to trim and possibly cmc but 0 offset is a good start. You're getting a quality lift, you'll be fine.

    Alignment shoot for 4* caster.

i have a 2.5in lift. and I have a caster at 0.9 maxed out on stock UCAs. You can definately feel the loose stability of it at high speeds. Therefore, I am purchasing some UCAs to increase the caster to 4* ... just fyi to look into as well..
