    My brother-in-law brought home the 2012 we were looking at this week! 53,xxx miles. One owner. A few scratches on the bumper and tail gate but other than that this thing is mint! It was owned by an older gentlemen who passed away. The interior looks like it never was ever used.

    As soon as we left the dealer yesterday we stopped to fill up and then headed to our house to do a little modding. I got him the LED kit for interior lights, plate lights and reverse lights. He also wanted to black out his wheels and emblems. Once all that was done we did a full detail on the paint (wash, clay, wash, correction, polish and ceramic coating). Also cleaned up the headlights as the top had just a tad bit of haze. He also already purchased a hard shell top that came with a RTT from craigslist. We will be installing that next weekend. He also order tires which will be installed next Friday. He's going to wait on suspension for now as he's not too sure which direction he wants to go with the truck. Overall its been a great weekend and so happy he got a Tacoma!

    Has anybody used underbody coating or bedliner to cover their rocker panels/pinch weld? I'm thinking of using some kind of roll on bedliner to coat that area prior to putting on sliders and coating the top of the sliders with it since has an anti-slip property to it.

    i'm not sure yet if he's joined. He has been lurking for sure though on DIY's etc. :spy:

    Have not posed the question yet on if he'd be interested in TTC membership but i'll give him some time and see what he says. Gonna take him to Bastrop soon so he can learn his 4x4 system. Show him low vs. high etc etc. Also planning a trip to the PINS with all 3 Toyota's this summer :rockband:
