This thread this weekend...I haven't signed on all weekend and read through the last 10 pages.

I'm down but if things keep going at the rate they are now there wont be anywhere up north to camp in a few weeks

We had to alter our route up to Greer when we drove through the Rattlesnake fire on the way up about 20 miles south of Alpine (24,000 acres burned-570 people workin on it and 46% contained) and passed the Tinder Fire on the way home that started Friday burning near Happy Jack which just prompted big evacuations (500 Acres- 500+ people on that one too)

 

I, too, like those wheels. ...but I was wondering... Does anyone around here run "classic" polished slots, as shown in the pic? What do you guys think about these on a Taco?

This was on FR26 along the Black River right by Diamond Rock (where I wanted to camp when we went to Carnero) about 15 miles north of the fire. You can see the haze from the smoke if you look close enough. Also the first time seeing Big Horns up there, way cool especially since they were all rams and 3 or 4 had full or almost full curls. Saw a few Pronghorns right by Green Peak on the way out today too.

 

I think he was just referring to the ignores that @JerryTaco and me got this weekend. It's been quite the shitshow for sure, but fun! Lol

 

That's awesome dude! Hopefully we get a big and early monsoon season this year otherwise I fear that we'll lose a lot of these places this year.
