I’m having a hard time finding a MLS head gasket for the 2TR, any suggestions?

Thats the overall CC, but im curious about the combustion camber because both the 2tr and 3rz use a 95mm x 95mm bore/stroke but the 3rz has a different compression ratio, so that leaves the combustion chamber to be the differentiating factor
I am having a custom set of pistons and rods set up through LCE to allow me to touch 1000hp.

I have a 76mm Borg Warner turbo with a custom manifold being built right now.

I've been fudging around with this build now for a year and will be done soon I hope!

Check my build for some deep info about the motor! Also ask me anything

They have been really busy with production parts and no time fr custom stuff. They have sent me updates though, and things are proceeding now

    Center-to-center on the rods:
    3RZ (147)
    2TR (147.5).
Could this alone be difference in 9.6 & 9.5?

It could be the pistons have a different dome cc or deck distance, maybe that's what you're meaning by "combustion c(h)amber".

Any idea why the 2TR and 2TR II have different compression ratios? I know they have different heads, maybe they changed the deck distance and/or dome cc.

    DOUBLLD making your manifold?

The rod length could absolutely be a factor!

The 2tr II is the dual VVTi version, so theyre going towards higher fuel economy. Most likely a smaller combustion chamber.

What I mean by CC of the combustion chamber:

    Got it.
This guy is using 56cc for 3RZ

3RZ's head chamber volume is 58cc

You have an extra head, right? Got any Vaseline and Plexiglas?

Guys on that same thread are saying 3RZ stock rods are good to 12~13 psi, so I'm guessing same for 2TR.

Contact JE pistons and see if they can make one for you. Very fond of their gasket.

So I guess I won't be installing any 3RZ pistons, unless I get a custom wrist pin made... which wouldn't be too hard, I guess
