does it fit 2nd gen? I might take it, have another friend with a 3rd gen that may take it if it doesn't fit

 

So my wife and I were talking today and a question was brought up that I need y'alls opinion on. So question of the day: at what point is it acceptable for us to throw up a shaka because we aren't from here or does nobody care?
I said doesn't matter in her car she has Hawaii plates. I said I already do it half the time. But if anything people will look at me funny because I have Nevada plates.

 

Good time to throw the Shaka is when you squeeze yourself in front of somebody or somebody let’s you in in a lane during traffic.

I won’t give up my plates either (only need a rear plate).

Do what you want. I’ve mostly seen the Shaka thrown when people are cutting other people off. I ain’t doing any of that in my Geo Metro Tacoma.

Who cares, throw one Shaka whenever you like. If they no like that you throwing one Shaka then flip them the bird.

I have one. The side rails are cut and there’s locking hardware in place for the cover to snap on to as it folds down.

 

I just wave, or shaka...

When someone lets you but in close, at least do one...

If you need the rails servco should be able to sell them to you.

 

Yeah, your bed rails are left alone with the OEM cover. The cutting is done into the bed caps or whatever they’re called.
