I have access to this kit, and have used it TONS for removing blind crankcase bearings, diff bearings, and axle besrings in motorcycle/ATVs/jet skis/ and sidexsides...I'm pretty confident in my skills, and experience, but have never messed with the ones on a vehicle application such as this. Anyone use it with success?

That's used for bearings with an inner race. The bearing your replacing with the bushing has none(actually the "inner race" is the cv shaft. So probably won't work.

Correct, but I don't remember it showing a shoulder that the bearing backs up to in the diff housing, it looked to be open on the back side for the jawls of the tool to grab the outer frame of the bearing?
